This guide explains how to convert a multiplayer savegame to a singleplayer savegame & the other way around.
Guide to Convert Savegames Singleplayer/Multiplayer
Convert Multiplayer Savegame to Singleplayer Savegame
- Navigate to this Folder: %UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Endnight\SonsOfTheForest\
- Open the Folder which name is your SteamID (should be the only folder there).
- Here you open the Folder Multiplayer.
- Now copy the right Savegame Folder (You may want to sort by date).
- Go back one Folder, and open the Singleplayer Folder.
- Paste your folder there.
- Open the Folder and DELETE the File MultiplayerPlayerRolesSaveData.json
- Done, you can now load your Multiplayer Savegame as Singleplayer, allowing you to pause the Game when opening the ESC Menu.
PS: Make sure the Folder Name is some unique 10 digit name.
Convert Singleplayer Savegame to Multiplayer Savegame
- Navigate to this Folder: %UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Endnight\SonsOfTheForest\
- Open the Folder which name is your SteamID (should be the only folder there).
- Here you open the Folder Singleplayer.
- Now copy the right Savegame Folder (You may want to sort by date).
- Go back one Folder, and open the Multiplayer Folder.
- Paste your folder there.
- Now, you can copy the File MultiplayerPlayerRolesSaveData.json from any of your Multiplayer Savegames, alternatively, you can create this File yourself and add the contents mentioned below and save it.
- Done, you can now load your Singleplayer Savegame as Multiplayer, allowing you to play the Game with your Friends.
