Why Go to Tank Town?

First, think about why you’d want to go to Tank Town. The main reason is money. You can make good money transporting goods to and from Tank Town. On average, you earn 1,000 credits per jump. This means you can make 2,000 credits for a round trip between Tank Town and Emerald Junction.

Another benefit is that batteries are much cheaper in Tank Town. For me, they cost 28% less than the usual price. This low battery cost is what first made me interested in going to Tank Town.

Getting to Tank Town from Emerald Junction

To reach Tank Town from Emerald Junction:

• Use the warp gate to go to Junk Fields.
• In Junk Fields, you’ll see a lot of debris. Don’t worry, it’s easier to navigate than it looks. Most of the junk is big and easy to avoid.

You have three options to get through:

• Set your speed to about 60 and carefully move through the debris.
• Follow another truck.
• Use this method:

• Stop your truck.
• Turn left. You should see Emerald Junction’s return gate, the body shop, and Tank Town’s jump gate in the distance.
• Head towards Emerald Junction’s return gate.
• Follow the lights to the body shop.
• After the lights end, go straight to reach the Tank Town gate.

This method works when coming from either direction.
