Starfield – Tips for NG+

NG+ Tips

I just entered NG+10.

Up to NG5 I played all of the faction quests plus the other side quests I liked. I would spend several weeks in each NG universe this way.

NG6 through NG9 my activities were more focused, but still a lot of fun.

1. Skip main quest – you still get credits and gear from Constellation.
2. Grab free weapons and armor from Lodge basement.
3. Use the workbenches to tag every resource I need to collect.
4. Make more credits. My quick method was pickpocketing. Level 4 Theft perk.
5. Buy all mats needed to upgrade weapons and armor.
6. Steal some ships, keep the best and sell the rest. At Commerce 4, I get +30k on resale of Claymore, Reef, Vista, Wight, Prophecy. This is a big deal at the beginning of NG+
7. Upgrade ship.
8. Collect and mod my favorite Advanced weapons: Beowulf, Inflictor, Breech, Hard Target, Magshear, Magsniper. My method to get these weapons is to complete The Mantis and Vulture’s Nest.
9. Start collecting Artifacts and Powers.
10. Head to Buried Temple and the Unity.

This focused run takes me about 3 days. For those players hesitant to give up their favorite weapons, ship, outposts for NG, that was a concern for me as well. I always found something special in each universe I didn’t want to give up. But it got easier knowing I would find something else special in the next universe.
