How to Unlock

After defeating Mother, a secret door will appear on the 6th floor connected to the north side of the starting room.

At some point on a run as whatever character you want to unlock tainted you must put a trinket in a treasure or boss room.

Then on floor 6 there will be a dark skull with an “X”. Bomb it for a guaranteed “0 – The Fool” (Telepills if you have Little baggy and ??? if you have little baggy and False PHD).

Defeat Mom and take either picture then teleport back. Use the picture to unlock the door and go to the secret area.

Then find Dad’s note in the boss and start the ascent. When you get to the floor where you dropped the trinket, find the boss/item room in pick up the Cracked key piece that should be on the ground.

When you reach home go to the hallway leading to Mom’s bedroom and there should be a red outline of a door.

Walk up to it and use the piece and the tainted unlock will be in the room.
