THE FINALS – How to Fix MISSING_ANGELSCRIPT_CALLSTACK (UE5 Error)

Fixing Guide

Foreword

The game crashed for me every 5 minutes, I could barely complete a match even using that strategy of putting “-dx11” in the console and related, it always crashed for me, so I went deep and succeeded with this method, after I did this I was able to play 3 hours straight without any crashes, remember, this worked very well for me, however depending on your machine this may not work and you will need other methods.

First of all, I realized that this game is very poorly optimized, and always consumed 100% CPU and this always made it crash, the pc heated up and it closed, so I made 2 methods that at least for me made the game not crash for hours.

CPU

Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Edit Plan Settings > Change advanced power settings

  1. First of all, put “High Performance” on power plan.
  2. Go to Processor Power Management and put “0%” on minimal processor state and “99%” on maximum processor state.

In-Game

  1. I just set the resolution to full screen window mode so the game would recognize it as “window” and then pressed “ALT + ENTER” to make the game full screen.
  2. This is specific, if you have an RTX video card set it to ultra performance.
