Top Heroes – Desert Prince / Paragon / Soulmancer Heroes Guide

Hero Guide for New Players

Are you a beginner? Worry not. This friendly guide will open your minds to each mythic hero.

Desert Prince

The Desert Prince is one of the tank type heroes of the Horde Faction. It tanks damage and deals true damage with its ultimate skill.

Skill Set:

  • Royal Armor: Gains a shield and damage absorption.
  • Royal Battle Armor: Increases skill damage and reduces skill damage taken of all allies.
  • Eye of Insight: Solo reduction of skill damage taken.
  • Sand Blessing: Gains additional maximum HP and deals true damage.
  • Scorching Scimitar: Dual blades dealing true damage on all nearby enemies.
  • Enthusiast: Increases the enemy’s dead and wounded soldier ratio.

Gameplay Tips:

  • Unlock to 5 platinum stars to achieve immunity to stun and all crowd control effects.
  • If paired with Eternal Wings Relic, the sustain is much better.

Paragon

Paragon is a league damage dealer who also buffs team mates. It deals burst AOE damage with her sword and arrows.

Skill Set:

  • Commanding Call: Active, Rectangular AOE rain of arrows on enemies. As she deals damage, she also gets a damage absorption shield at a set damage-based percentage.
  • Final Verdict: Passive, cooldown reduction of 2secs whenever an enemy is defeated.
  • Ultimate Execution: Passive, increases Paragon’s normal attack range and damage.
  • Celestial Blade: A big sword falls from the sky and deals AOE damage on all enemy heroes.
  • Moral Fury: She waves a flag, and this increases all allies’ attack and deals damage per second on nearby enemies.
  • Conqueror: Increases damage to Castles.

Gameplay Tips:

  • The more enemies her ultimate kills, the lesser the cooldown. 21secs CD minus 2 secs per dead enemy.
  • Goes well with Twisted Mask Gears for burst damage.
  • Ideally with DP, Adju, Astro, Pixie and Nun.

Horde Faction: Horde heroes are savage-themed, ranging from vikings to witches and so on. These heroes are strong against the League Faction but are disadvantaged against Nature Heroes.

Soulmancer

Is it worth it? Yes! Soulmancer can both sustain and deal damage. His skill Soul Link, links all allies and he absorbs damage inflicted on everyone at a set percentage. With this skill, his allies can sustain not only from heals. His ultimate activates when he dies and he deals AOE damage. Though he acts like a sacrifice, his damage usually is enough to kill the back lane heroes or if not, suffers a significant damage.

Ideal Position:

Either Mid or Front Lane

Ideal Gear:

Sage/Solar Set for burst damage but I personally use Terran Set for sustain.

Ideal Line Up:

If full horde:

  • Front: DP, Swordmaster
  • Mid: Soulmancer, Wilderness H
  • Back: Warlock, Storm Maiden

If Hybrid:

  • Front: DP, Adju
  • Mid: Soulmancer, Nun
  • Back: Astrologer,Paragon

He goes well with anything, you can try to experiment.

Can he be awakened? Yes! If awakened and deployed, he reduces allies’ damage from normal attacks by 20% and he debuffs enemies by decreasing their attack and healing.
