I constantly run out of money doing these wave levels, so i do the research money trick to get my money up again.

So, You’re Kinda Struggling

I think we’ve all been there, I have over 200 hours in this game and I still struggle to complete those pesky wave levels. Either there’s too much time between waves, or the surgery patients are taking too long, or you constantly need new treatment rooms which use up all your money.

I am particularly struggling in mudbery festival, I get to the hotdog level and I’m suddenly -100,000, on the verge of bankruptcy, after spending 2 hours in this level I’m annoyed and have to start over.

Now im on camouflage falls and suddenly, after every wave, I too keep going in the negatives.

When I began taking screenshots, I had already done this a couple of times, to tell you the truth I had to sell a few treatment rooms to even begin this process. You need at least 3k to do cheesier gubbins (or any money-related research).

Beginning the Process

I go to my research room in the wave map. I usually go with cheesier gubbins because its the best and least time consuming research, only 2000 research points for $45,000 compared to time travel which requires 5000 points and only returns $50,000.

Now go back to the map and choose a different level where you have previously done a lot of research, I chose pelican wharf because I have 5 fully skilled out research doctors and an average research room.

Now, in this map, choose the same research you selected in your wave map.

Now to wait and time it right, you want to wait until its right before it hits 2000, closest I’ve ever gotten is 1998, you don’t want to miss it though. When its close, select ‘shelve project’. This will pause the research

Returning to the Map

Now that you’ve paused the research, we can go back to our wave map.

If you did it correctly, the research should still be active and on the same number as you left it in the previous map.

And done. you are now $45,000 richer.

Repeat this a few times.
