How-To

If you’re struggling to win a battle despite trying different strategies, repetitively battling monsters to earn more Martial Points may not be the solution. Here are some tips to overcome the bandits in Mount Wanzi if victory seems elusive:

  1. Improve Your Martial Arts

Don’t forget to upgrade your skills by using unused Martial Points earned from previous battles. Access the Martial Art page through the upper-right menu (press V).

  1. Cultivate Your Meridian

Improving your meridian leads to increased strength and power. Obtain Meridian Points by upgrading cultivation methods. Access the Meridian page through the upper-right menu (press J), and spend Meridian Points on acupoints to boost your stats.

  1. Invite “Helpers”

Invite Wei Huo and Bai Jin, located respectively at the entrances of Wutong Village and Luo Village, to your party before facing the Mount Wanzi battle. Approach the characters, choose “Observe”, then “Gift”. Once their Affinity with you reaches 60, choose “Invite” and they will join your party, making the battle easier. Here’s a hack – it is possible to remove equipment from party members and equip the main character with their advanced gear. The only disadvantage of having them join your party is that Martial Points earned will have to be shared with all the party members and inevitably slow down the growth of your lead character.

  1. Enhance Your Equipment

On the World Map, located to the left of Wutong Village and Luo Village, you’ll find Pingkang City, a hub of side quests that offers valuable resources. The city center is also home to a blacksmith with a forge and a tailor, where you can purchase or craft advanced equipment.
