Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader – How to Fight Against Uralon

Tips to Deal with Uralon

Fight Against Uralon

Uralon himself is neglectable, his accompanying Chaos Space Marines are not.

As frustrating as it sounds, the most important part of this fight is the initiative order. You basically start the fight in the open, just a few squares from the enemy and with a wall behind your back.

If too many of the enemy CSM can act before you, they can fry several of your squishy characters before you even have a chance to act. The purifier (CSM with a heavy flamer) did 170 damage crits to (my) Idira. If the initiative is not in your favor, don’t hesitate to reload and try again.

For me the best order to take down the CSM was flamer dude, bolter bastard, melee marine.

Again, make use of your operative(s) by using exploits and “expose weakness” before raining hell on your target. This is vitaly important.

Warning: There is NO break between the fight against Uralon and Edge of Daybreak (which is BS imho but that’s how Owlcat designed this).
