Text Box / Camera Movement / No Sound Fix

If your game no longer responds after a restart or after an NVIDIA or Windows update. The solution may be a simple paradox in the options.

For the Text Box Problem

If you no longer have any text displayed, either in conversations or in descriptions on the space map, leaving empty text boxes.

Check the following procedure:

Esc -> Option -> Accessibility.
Scroll down to Text Size.
If Font Size is 0 or less than 0.8, this is an error.
Fill the bar to at least 0.8 or preferably 1.
The text should appear correctly again.

For Camera Problems

If you can’t move the character camera with ZQSD, try the following:

Esc -> Options -> Controls.
In Mouse Settings.

If:

Screen edge scrolling speed.
Rotation speed of the camera with mouse.
Rotation speed of the camera with keyboard.
Keybord scrolling speed.

Are 0, this prevents movement. Then fill the bars halfway to obtain a value of 50%.

For Sound

Even problematic, the adjustment bars are set to 0.

Esc -> Options -> Sound.
If volumes are at 0, fill them as required.
