Wartales – How to Finish the Crime and Chaos Path Quickly

If you want to finish the Crime and Chaos path quickly, and not use 100 hours on it like me, make a Shizzleton of the most expensive weapons you can, and sell them to a vendor.

The Crime and Chaos Path Tip

All credit goes to Dæmon!

Preferably somewhere where you aren’t boxed in by the guards, and are able to escape afterwards. Then you steal back that whole stack of weapons you just sold the vendor, and you will get a LOT of points in the “Pickpocket” challenge under Crime and Chaos… while it only awards you 1 point for 500 krowns worth of stolen items, I just sold a stack of Ahkedian Steel Maces for 547 krowns per piece and another stack of Rimesteel Maces for 300+ krowns per mace.

If you can launder the items and not get annihilated by the guard, you can do it again. It takes a lot of farming though, but I am finally done. I tried a lot of methods but this is by far the most effective one. Just see to that the stack you steal back is as big as possible. The stack I stole was worth 25000 krowns = 50 points in one go. The suspicion you will get WAY superceeds the 600, but who cares, right? Just don’t expect to be able to bribe the guard if they catch you.

To achieve the salesprice, you have to activate the “Trade Fair” Resolution in your camp at the banner. 50% extra krowns for the gear made by your troop. To optimize it further the “Trade of Forged Goods” that gives you 10% extra krowns per quality point is also recommended(under Power and Glory). I also upgraded all of the maces to level 3 in quality takes farming and time, but it is more effective than running around and doing assassination missions, even if you only go for the leader in each fight.

  1. cheers, good info that I needed. Still a bit of a grind – but on a lesser scale and one that you feel more in control of.
