Biome Guide + Tips
Burnt Forest Biome
The Burnt Forest Biome, also known as the “Dead Forest,” is marked by its visibility of prey and resource availability, such as wood and coal from ember piles. However, challenges include burn victim zombies that can ignite players, smoldering debris, land mines, and scarce wildlife and buildings. Rain can lower body temperature, necessitating warm clothes or temporary shelter in other biomes. High afternoon temperatures demand hydration and cooling clothes. Most buildings are damaged, offering limited loot. Infected Police Officers and aggressive nighttime zombies increase the biome’s danger.
Desert Biome
In the Desert Biome, extreme temperatures challenge survival, but Yucca Juice and appropriate clothing can mitigate heat. It’s rich in resources like yucca fruit, aloe plants for medical supplies, and materials for ammunition production. Sparse water sources and wood are offset by the presence of animals and potential loot in buildings and ghost towns. The addition of a city in Alpha 16 enhances its viability for settlement.
Nuclear Fallout Biome
Nuclear fallout zones, marked by lethal radiation and a distinctive green color, act as barriers in the game. Radiation suits slow but don’t prevent damage, making these areas deadly without proper gear. Zombies are unaffected, whereas animals quickly perish.
Snowy Forest Biome
This biome is characterized by its cold, visibility-reducing environment and the presence of dangerous wildlife and Frozen Lumberjack zombies. Sparse resources and extreme temperatures challenge early-game survival. However, abundant blueberries and the ability to create drinkable water from snow offer some sustenance.
Forest Biome
The Forest Biome offers a favorable start with a stable climate, abundant water, and resources. It supports a variety of wildlife and plant life, making it suitable for survival. Points of interest and materials for crafting are plentiful.
Wasteland Biome
The Wasteland is a perilous area with industrial ruins, high zombie populations, and hidden dangers like land mines. It offers rich loot opportunities, especially in central cities, but is recommended for experienced players due to its challenges. Preparation and caution are advised when exploring, especially at night.
So, umm, yeah. Pretty sure the title specifically mentions that this is for NAVEZGANE MAP ALPHA 17.. Yeah…and as for the randomly generated map and the difference, well the POIs (points of interest) are..you guessed it..randomly generated. As in placed randomly within the world. It’s not a set map. NAVEZGANE on alpha 17 will always look the exact same. No matter what. You can use a “seed” when creating a ran gen to find the same world over and over. Each seed is different from another, but always the same map when inputting the same characters (number & letter combinations). Either way, thanks to the creator of this post. The full map is super useful! Thank you!
Yeah hi. I’m that person that doesn’t know the difference between randomly generated and Navezgane?
Of course this is for ‘Navezgane’ world. It would be good if you mention it in your guide. Some newbies may not know how does the game work and what is the difference between Navezgane and randomly generated worlds
