You can type in the console(F1) to get back quests:

givequest questID

For example, if you cancelled the first tutorial quest you’d type this to get it back:

givequest quest_BasicSurvival1

You can find questIDs in data/configs/quests.xml

Tips for Beginners (How Don’t Loose Your Mission)

There’s no way to get it back if you accidentally cancelled the quest in the map menu. However, you may not be able to get the same exact quest location, but you can a certainly get a similar quest at another location by talking to the trader again.

My tip for beginners is very simple. Play the game and learn the basics. Just accept the fact that you will die a lot during this learning process and it’s very common. Even us vets had to endure the same learning experience at some point and time, and some of us still do.

Don’t fall into a repetitive state where you’re doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Learn from your previous mistakes that caused you to die and then find ways to change it up. Try different weapons, different approaches to scenarios, etc until you find what works best for YOU. Everyone is different.
