Baldur’s Gate 3 – Stealth Build (Honor Mode Solo)

Quick Guide to Stealth Build

By Moonheart.

Finished my solo honour mode, with a stealth build. It prooved you don’t need even to do 100 damage per round to finish the game.

The build respect Forgotten Realm’s lore about Shar’s cult, using no class/sub-class the cult would not welcome to his highest ranks, and using a fighting method matching the principles of the Lady of Night (stealth, trickery, darkness):

Type: Stealth Archer

Character: Shadowheart (Choosen of Shar’s path)

Levels:

  • Trickery Cleric 1 – Buffs cantrip help a lot during exploration, and Sanctuary just save your run from unexpected events in combat.
  • Shadow Monk 6 – Infinite invisibility and teleportation, just literally can break the game if used intelligently.
  • Thief Rogue 3 – Extra BA.
  • Fighter 1 – Archery Style, just better than any 3rd feat.

Feats: +2 Dex, Sharpshooter

Gear:

  • Diadem of Arcane Synergy – activate on each shoot, adds Wisdom to arrow damage.
  • Shadow-Slayer Cloak – more critical hits.
  • Graceful Cloth – advantage on stealth rolls, makes your dex reach 20.
  • Dark Justiciar Gauntlets – add damage to arrows, and can slowly grind some boss hp without triggering their legendary counters.
  • Helldusk boots – prevent AoE knockdowns that would break your Darkness.
  • Amulet of Greater Health – stats optimization.
  • Strange Conduit Ring – you’re almost always concentrating on Darkness past act 1, so it’s permanent extra damage.
  • Ring of Regeneration – once you have it, you never need to health potions ever again.

Weapons:

  • Shar’s Spear of Evening – Infinite Darkness, immunity to Darkness and extra damage in the dark.
  • The Dead Shot – Your main weapon, can trigger the diadem at every shot, and increase critical.

Consumables:

  • Potions of Invisibility: it’s not for you, it’s to hide those NPC you are supposed to protect.
  • Potions of Speed: to use in fights based on timers you need like 6.
  • Alchemical Fire: breaks invisibility of annoying targets.
  • Magical arrows – always fun, use to solve a few specific problems.
