How to Fix: Middle Mouse Button Not Working

I meet the same issue just because I need to press my mouse middle key very hard to let it work. Guess it is your mouse hardware issue, too.

However, I don’t want to buy a new one, and my mouse hase the extension butoons at the side way.

So I use AutoHotKey tool, just make a simple mbutton.ahk, a text file. and write the content as below.

Xbutton1::MButton
Xbutton2::MButton

And run it. Everything works well at least for me.

But I think the simplest way is the official make an UI to customize the mouse middle key mapping to any mouse button which is same as what they have done in City Skyline.

I don’t know why they remove this in CS2.
