Overdose Calculation

The minimum toxicity level for overdose is set to 3.9 (minODToxicity).
The percentage of low toxicity level for overdose is set to 0.1 (lowToxOdPercent).
The percentage of high toxicity level for overdose is set to 0.25 (highToxOdPercent).
The high toxicity level is set to 12.0 (highToxLevel).

The formula to calculate the overdose risk is as follows:

OverdoseRisk = (drugReceived.toxicity – minODToxicity) / (highToxLevel – minODToxicity)

If the calculated overdose risk is within the low-toxicity range (0.0 – 0.1), no further action is taken.
If the calculated overdose risk is within the high-toxicity range (0.1 – 0.25), further actions are taken.
