• The minimum toxicity level for overdose is set to 3.9 (minODToxicity).
• The percentage of low toxicity level for overdose is set to 0.1 (lowToxOdPercent).
• The percentage of high toxicity level for overdose is set to 0.25 (highToxOdPercent).
• The high toxicity level is set to 12.0 (highToxLevel).

The formula to calculate the overdose risk is as follows:

• OverdoseRisk = (drugReceived.toxicity – minODToxicity) / (highToxLevel – minODToxicity)

• If the calculated overdose risk is within the low-toxicity range (0.0 – 0.1), no further action is taken.
• If the calculated overdose risk is within the high-toxicity range (0.1 – 0.25), further actions are taken.
