Enshrouded – What Resources Should Players Pay Extra Attention To?

Tips for Gathering Resources

Water until you can build a well. Then you can just pick up and replace the well to replenish it. Flax and indigo for furniture and armor.

When you start base building for real. You will need crazy amounts of ore, wood, rock, stones. So you can never get enough. I’m carrying 2x iron pick axes and mining 2-3k rocks at a time isn’t enough to build for more than 10-15 minutes.

The main reason you need crazy amounts of wood is mostly for charcoal and clay kilns. Charcoal is a resource you need for a LOT.

Never discard resources. If you’re inventory is full while adventuring, delete torches, food, potions, arrows, if you can instead.

Note: If you’re looking for epic and legendary gear / weapons, then you definitely need to know where you can find gold chests in Enshrouded. Our guide will help you not only find them, but also find out what you can get!

I love games and I live games. Video games are my passion, my hobby and my job. My experience with games started back in 1994 with the Metal Mutant game on ZX Spectrum computer. And since then, I’ve been playing on anything from consoles, to mobile devices. My first official job in the game industry started back in 2005, and I'm still doing what I love to do.

  1. Apart from books, everything can be quite easily obtained/farmed.

Plants grow really fast imo and there’s no limit to the size of your farm plus juste craft multiple stations to output materials faster. I’ve got three spindles going when I’m in a crunch and I shit more linen than I know what to do with it, I’ve got twigs to go to the moon and back and I’m not even focusing on materials right now. I’m still exploring the map on my first playthrough.

Just be sure to either leave a marker or take some notes on where to find ressources when you travel and you can get there to farm in a matter of seconds after the mid game.

  2. I basically just get what I need when I need it.
And sometimes grab things when I’m randomly passing by.

Needed to upgrade flame and didn’t even know where to get tin ore or those gland things.
Explored a bit, got 50 of each.

Not much, but a start. Noticed I needed more later, so I went back to where I now knew I could find those resourced and brought back a lot more of each.

Needed salt to make leather, so I went to the salt mines and came home with like 1000 salt.

  3. O yes get going on flax early, I did and never had the issue most are having when they get to “mid game”.

Sparks are a good thing to grab when ever you have a chance.

If you or your friends are using arrows stay stocked on what ever mat you need for tips(I just farmed tons of iron since you will always need it) and keep track of places with feathers until you find a good farming spot and %100 dig out creature dens for twigs instead of growing shrubs…

  4. Flax isn’t really needed – you can loot 10+ fabric (200 flax) worth breaking vases for 5 min in kindle tower.

It’s also only really used for armour when chest farming can net you every lvl 25 armour set in 20min

Honestly water is needed more than anything g else. I have 5 fancy wells
