Forza Motorsport – A Guide to Reduce Under-Steering

Are you having trouble with Under-steering in the new FM8 Game?

Reduce Under-Steering

Сrеdit gоеs to !

Do you feel like Jenson Button all the time?

Well, it is normal and the under-steer in this game is super crazy. If you are on a Controller, try these ‘Advanced Controller Settings’, and it is very important that you use “Simulation” steering, Simulation steering in controller is very much playable unlike what the game says so ignore that. Simulation steering will also make the car more twitchy and if you have a hard time correcting the car after losing control you can go back to normal steering.

Other tips to reduce Understeer

It is very important that you must steer the car while on the racing line, you should turn on the racing line for corners only. The car tends to understeer more if you swerve from the racing line, as long as you are inside the racing line you are good to go.

Manual Shifting & Under-steer

You might notice that when shifting down, you also get some understeer, so in order to avoid this, always downshift first before making a turn.

  1. I agree with the deadzone settings needing to be changed on the controller, but man the “simulation steering” is merciless

Btw Forza is the only racing game I play with a controller, and I cannot corner like at all if I don’t have the ABS on, how do people corner without it? The wheels just lock

    • You shouldn’t be braking at 100%. You should apply the brake gently and at most you should apply 85% of brake power. Anything over 85% increases the chance of wheel lock.
