How many cars can we expect in Forza Motorsport?

Forza Motorsport will feature over 500 cars that you can collect, race and build using over 800 performance upgrades.

What cars will be on the cover of Forza Motorsport?

We’re excited and honored to team up with both Cadillac and Chevrolet to feature the stunning 2023 No.01 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R racecar and the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray on the official Forza Motorsport cover.

What is new for car models in Forza Motorsport?

To enhance our car models, we have sourced paints that produce a more realistic light response by using a spectrophotometer. We have also rebuilt our materials and shaders at higher resolutions for a cutting edge, ray tracing experience.

With the new car damage, how far will it go, can I expect parts to fall off my car?

You can expect damage to be accurately reproduced down to the individual scratches on the bodywork. Currently, we are not planning to have car parts fall off cars.

What is a spectrophotometer and how does it improve cars in Forza Motorsport?

We have sourced our car paints using a spectrophotometer to capture multiple data points of light behavior on a surface. This produces a paint model that has a much more realistic light response across colors, metal flake and gloss levels.

Does Forza Motorsport feature any new visual customization options?

As shown during the trailer, Forza Motorsport will feature some new aero choices for bumpers and spoilers, as well as new rims, combined with some existing aero and body kit options from previous titles. The selection of parts available to fit will vary on a per car basis.

Does Forza Motorsport feature any new types of performance upgrades?

We’ve introduced a ballast adjustment. This part can be adjusted in levels with each adding 2.5% of the car’s base weight to the car.
