Gigantic: Rampage Edition – Slippery Ramsay Build

Slippery Ramsay

Here’s a slippery Ramsay build which focuses heavily on dodging, punishing, and generally keeping the attention on you and not your teammates. With this build you can really mess up the enemy team, confusing them with constant M2 dodges. The damage isn’t top tier, but it’s nothing to scoff about either.

  • M1: Hamstring > Lash Out – This is a vital part of the build that allows you to reduce your Rush CD with every dodge attack. Always take this.
  • M2: Bouncing Around > Counterplay – Bouncing Around is another great upgrade for reducing your M2 cooldown. Coupled with the M1 upgrades, you’ll always have some sort of dodge at your disposal. Always take this as well.
  • Q: If you’re looking for 1v1’s, take Whippersnapper > Whiplash. My recommended path, however, is Whip Around > Impress. This is because Whip Around can apply your E poison, allowing you to apply multiple instances in AOE. Great for team fighting/1vX.
  • E: If you’re learning Ramsay from fresh, or you’re still learning the game in general, I’d recommend Fruit Sugar > Blood Sugar as this gives you some extra stamina sustain. As soon as you’re comfortable, switch to Lasting Effects > Out of Juice as this makes your poison incredible for Degen. Paired with Whip Around, you can really mess up teams.
  • F: Id recommend Endurance. The T2 upgrade is personal preference, and ive had similar performance with both, however I tend to lean towards Acrobatics as this allows you to squeeze another dodge or two out during a fight.

Talent: Adrenaline. A no-brainer for a build so heavily tapered into Rush.

Learn to manage your stamina. It’s easy to burn through it on meaningless dodges. Aim to use your rush as much as possible through the CD reducing attacks in order to regen your stamina.

Once you become more comfortable, you can quite easily find yourself locking down enemies for extended periods of time, taking the heat off your teammates and wasting their time.

You excel at stopping powerpoint caps using your Rush as an interrupt.

Once you get really familiar with the kit, Ramsay is a character which can quite easily win outnumbered fights, though I wouldn’t recommend seeking them out for the sake of it.

Your ultimate is great for area denial as well as a panic button – It not only deals damage, but also gives you 4 seconds of stealth!

Please note the order of upgrades is subject to change as the guide was made for the Rush gamemode during the playtest.
