Lords of the Fallen – How to Make Invading for Severed Hands Less Tedious

So this is just a method I’m using to make invading for severed hands less tedious until the devs change the reward amount.

The Method

Сrеdit gоеs to AldeArte!

How-To

Start a new character and rush to skyrest bridge and then rush to complete the tortured prisoner first part of quest so that you can speak to her as a merchant. Buy the 5 charred fingers and then make a backup of the save. Be sure to note which save file is the new character (earliest made save file should be 0, then 1, 2 and so on.)

Proceed to invade and succeed with the 5 charred and then quit and copy over the backup again. You now should still have the severed hands you just won and still have the 5 charred fingers.

I don’t believe this should be bannable or anything like that as functionally its no different than just creating a new character each 5 fingers, minus the tedium of getting back to skyrest each time.

PS. You probably don’t need to do this on a new character, but just to be safe I’m avoiding doing this on my main save especially if the devs decide this is an inappropriate use of save backups.
