Name Colors

The aim of this guide is to help people who missed explanation regarding name color system from the developers

Red Name – This player is the Bounty target you are hunting when you pick up a bounty.

Orange Name – A player you are at war with. This includes all types of war declarations forced and agreed upon. Attacking this player will give you the war commandant debuff which will allow guards to attack you

Green Name
– This player is in your guild.

Blue Name – A player that is protected by the law. Attacking them turns you into a criminal and changes your nameplate grey. Even if they are a known murderer (a player with over 5 kill counts). Killing a blue (innocent) player can result in a Reputation loss (depending what priest they resurrect at) and a Murder Count if they aren’t a known murderer.

Teal Name
 – their guild is allied with your guild, they are supposed to be your friends.

Grey Names
 – The player is a criminal. You can attack a grey without becoming criminal yourself and without the fear of having a Murder Count increase and Reputation Loss.

Light Grey Name – A player who is able to be attacked and killed by you without Murder Count or Rep Loss. It is a personal flag between you two. A good example here is Dueling. Devs refer to this as Local Grey.

However, anyone who starts fighting you even if you yourself are a criminal turns local grey to you. So in some cases you can still get an MC and Rep Loss.

Have fun PKing guys!
