Muse Dash – How to Fix Loading Screen Crash

This guide provides a solution for a common crash bug in which Muse Dash locks up the entire operating system during loading screens, potentially corrupting save data.

Guide to Fix Loading Screen Crash

On certain hardware configurations, the game may sometimes crash and lock up the operating system on loading screens such as this one:

This bug is caused by the game trying to render too many frames at once, effectively hogging the CPU. Luckily, we can fix this by enabling the game’s framerate limiter.

Steps to Solve

  • Enter the Options menu.
  • Select “DISPLAY”.
  • Set the framerate to 240 FPS, or whatever your screen refresh rate is.

If you’ve followed all of the instructions in this guide, hopefully you’ll be able to enjoy a crash-free Muse Dash experience.
