Which Gearset to Get for MPS7 Outer Space & Why?
Like other Weapons Outer Space doesnt have Weapon Features which are crit depended, thats why imo going for a full elemental/status build is the best option to do.
The DPS Testings I or other ppl did also proof those results. Going for a full elemental/status build also has one big benefit: with an smg you are often capped because of the range until the damage fall off.
Since your main dmg comes from the shocks and not from the weapon hits itself, you wont have a huge dmg falloff on range, bc shock doesnt have an damage-falloff.
Rn there are few bosses like the red light/green light-boss in EX1 or the fridge-boss from PSI which are immune to elemental e.g. shock damage. I hope this will get fixed in an upcoming update.
- Late-Game Build: 1x mayfly goggles, 3x heavy duty, 2x agent
- End-Game Build: 1x mayfly goggles, 4x shelterer set, 1x either renegade for the +15% reloadspeed or 1x lonewolf for 10% for mag.
According to my testings, more mag definetly equals into more consistent dps compared to reloadspeed, but since I already have 72 shots per mag i would go with 1x renegade for the +15% reloadspeed.
- PvP: For PvP I would recommend to run 1x mayfly, 3x shelterer and 2x heavy since you will get 8% flat elemental-dmg increase from the 2pc heavy.
Basically you always have 15 stacks of shelterer, so you would need to hit 15 bodyshots or 6 headshot to get the 10% extra elemental dmg from the 4pc.
I strongly believe that 8% flat elemental dmg increase from 2pc heavy would be more consistent than 4pc shelterer for pvp.
Which Gearset to Get for SOCR Outsider or Corrosion & Why?
Other than the Outer Space, SOCR Outsider & Corrosion have Weapon Features which are crit dependend.
For example at Outsider, crit hits increase the chance to trigger shock by 30% of the base value (35%), so to math that out you want to do 35×0.3 = 10.5% higher chance to proc a shock for 3s after doing a crit hit.
Imo this basically means that you want to build your gear full on crit since the weapons sinergyses with crit + crit beeing ULTRA strong atm and working extremly op on several builds especially with deviants.
- Late-Game Build: 1x mayfly goggles, 3x falcon, 2x scout
- End-Game build: 1x gas mask (35% critrate), 4x lonewolf, 1x renegade
