Guide to Olympium Gathering

Preparation

To mine you need a hammer.

Both the impact and magnetic hammer work but magnetic hammer yields more and with less hits.

Always bring more than one hammer, you will need it. To make a magnetic hammer you will need LIM magnets which can be gotten from a LIM magnetizer. These magnetizers look like large transfusion devices and they spawn in junctions with this symbol in the modifiers list.

To use the magnetizer put in scrap metal and then you receive magnets.

To find Olympium you must look in the “red spires” biome.

The notation and symbol for red spires are shown in this images:

Important step!

To find a prime zone for Olympium hunting look for these symbols on the junction information page.

The image above had the symbol that you will see in the modifiers list which indicates that there is Olympium to be found in that junction.

The image above shows the symbol that means ‘high amounts of natural resources’. This means there is a lot more Olympium to be found here.

Be sure to drive off road! It is way easier to find more if you venture off into the depths of the zone.

Now that youre prepared and know where to go here is what to look for. You do not need a resource rader to find Olympium veins but it helps some people. Olympium glows purple! Use that fact to spot it in the distance. The images below show what olympium veins look like at different distances.

Note: Olympium veins can spawn in groups!

Now you can use this information to have better chances at finding more Olympium faster!

Using the information here I was able to get a little over 100 Olympium from one junction in one run.

If someone is struggling to find Olympium or asks how to find it feel free to link this guide to them so that they can have better chances.
