Palworld – Overnight AFK Tip

Overnight AFK Tip (Xbox)

Since pals only work while logged in, more often than not you get the idea to leave your character idle and go about your day while your pals slave away.

However, I’ve found that this often leads to pals becoming injured, sick, or depressed and I spend a good 5 minutes healing and feeding them back to sanity once I return to play.

I also notice this seemed to only happen at the base where I went AFK, so I figured: what if I didn’t AFK at any base and just left my character out of render distance?

I’m glad to report, so far so good! I’ve been able to afk with no issues while sitting at the small settlement south of Kingpaca.

I’ve left it on overnight for the past couple days, and the worst thing to happen is a Jormuntide getting stuck somewhere as I fast travel back to base (common issue), but everything is still cooked and they aren’t even starved.

So if you’re wanting to AFK without problems, I’d suggest trying to do so away from your bases as it seems to function a lot better when you do.

  1. – Wide paths to beds and stations. Ceilings at least 2 units above stations and beds.

    – Hot springs and feeders spread throughout the base

    – Good palfood like salad with SAN recharge

    – consider removing door ways and leaving open walls

Make 2-3 bases within render distance of each other so nothing goes into stasis

Go live IRL and Enjoy 🙂
