The Mau
If you find yourself low on gold, there is but one pal who can ease the burden of your money troubles every time you wanna invest in those traveling merchants.
In Palworld, you can find a little black & gold Egyptian themed cat named Mau. Mau’s passive ability is called Gold Digger, which will have the little guy randomly digging up bags of coin when assigned to your ranch. And let me tell you, the rate at which the little guy does this is a lot.
I once left my camp for a whole day and came back to at least 600 gold worth of dug up bags at the ranch (and that’s not including the ones my other pals picked up and put into my crates). And that was just 1 Mau! Collect 4 or 5 of these little guys and you have an automatic gold mine. Additionally, Mau seems to be very self-sustaining and rarely ever appears to sleep or lose sanity for that matter (tho that could just be my experience). Just remember to feed it like any other pal.
Location: Mau can primarily be found in dungeons but according the Pal wiki as of this time, you can also find it locked up in enemy encampments (though I haven’t raided enough baddies to confirm this).
Notes: I’ve heard there’s an ice variant of Mau, and according to the wiki, it too has the Gold Digger ability. So I guess if you want a gold mine that doubles as a freezer?
I’d also like to mention that, yes, Vixy can also dig up coin but she digs up other items as well, whereas Mau’s sole purpose is to be your automatic money farm.
Hey a berry farm is faster for gold in pure per hour. I filled an entire pal base with berries and I got 86k berries in like 2 hrs which is 400k gold
Yes but vixy gets gold arrows and free pal spheres. I’m curious does anyone know how a higher tier of their passives impact production?
