Risk of Rain Returns – How to Find Commando’s Secret Prism Skin

Simple short guide on how to find Commando’s prism skin. (Spoilers obviously).

Where Do We Go?

Сrеdit gоеs to KazeKami!

Not every desolate forest has the prism spawn, only one of them do.

Notable landmarks:

Twin Castles to the far left of the map.

Climby rope thingy in the upper middle.

Neat little mountain square thing with a tunnel around the middle right.

Whatever this is at the bottom right of the map.

If you have all these we can start searching, you of course don’t have to go and find ALL of these, on this map the secret is just up the rope climby thing and then to the top left of the map there will be the roots with the blue leaves without a tree or anything above it.

What We’re Looking For

It spawns every time, but not every desolate forest has it of course.

What we need to keep an eye open for are the tree roots that go deep into the ground but don’t worry, they also are accompanied by blue leaves all over them so they shouldn’t be hard to spot, example as seen below.

When you do find it the right roots, because I know there are more than 1 blue leafed roots, you’re going to stand over top and climb down them as you would a rope/ladder.

If your room looks like this, you got unlucky and have to reset. very unfortunate.

Get your picks ready cause it’s time to dig deep.

Once you’ve found the right one, and you’ve climbed down it should look something like this at the bottom.

You won’t find the prism here, but don’t panic, if you go back to where the vine you climbed down is, and you try climbing down below the vine, you can go deeper, in this next area you should find what you’re looking for.

We’ve struck gold!

You’re Ready

Good luck, and happy hunting fellow survivors!
