Panther / Leopard Mount Taiming Guide

Here Are the Steps Involved:

• Unlock life perception under your mask node repair screen. This will allow you to see the paw prints on the ground that you need to interact with in order to get the female Panther or jungle leopard to spawn.
• The saddle is unlocked at awareness level 25 under bronze gear subset.
• Find the paw prints on the ground and interact with them. The female feline will go through multiple modes before it actually has a baby.
• Place Medium traps near the resting point of the female feline. Make sure you do not get too close or you will aggro the mother.
• Wait for the baby to be born and then trap it.
• Take the baby out of the trap and place it on the ground. This will start the process of it being trained.
• Wait for the development cycle to finish and for it to reach 100% development before you’re going to be able to ride it.

Here Are Some Additional Tips:

It is recommended to kill anything that is hostile in the area before you start this process, so that they do not aggro the Panther.

• You can use multiple traps to speed up the process.
• The closer you can place the trap to the resting point, the better.
• The level of feline that spawns is linked to your level.
• You can place food in the pet’s inventory, but it is far less effective than having a trough.
• Don’t forget to put a saddle on your pet!
