Accidentally Deleted a Quest Item
What to do if the game item is accidentally deleted?
If you accidentally delete a game item, don’t panic! Deleted items go to the trash. They stay there for a week before being permanently removed. As long as it’s been less than 7 days since you deleted the item, you can still get it back from the trash. No need to stress over it.
How to recover a deleted item?
- To get back a deleted item, first open up STALCRAFT. Pick your character on the main menu and join the server.
- Once you’re in the game, open your inventory by hitting the E key. Look in the bottom right corner and click on the trash can icon.
- You’ll see a list of deleted items on the left. Find the one you want to recover and right-click it.
- A menu will pop up for that item. Hit the “Restore” button.
- A notification will appear asking you to confirm. Click “Confirm” and the item will be returned to your inventory.
- And there you go – item restored!
Main Story Quests (MSQ)
Main story in Stalcraft is the same for both factions but sometimes takes players to different locations so as not to pit them against each other too often. MSQ can be distinguished from side quests by its yellow color markers.
I highly recommend not to ignore it as it unlocks important features such as Caches and Signals as well as just gives generally decent rewards. Over the course of the story occasionally you will be asked to make choices, your choices do not affect your rewards but they do affect how immediate and some future encounters play out.
For example, certain decisions in the middle portion of MSQ will allow you to entirely skip one of the boss fights. The only choice that affects your rewards is the very last choice but the difference is cosmetic only.
While I encourage everyone to finish MSQ on their own, I agree that some of the quests can be rather annoying or confusing (especially Kaa’s riddles), so here’re video guides to some of them(beware they are all in russian and old):
- Kill the Beast.
- Kaa’s riddles (stalkers).
- Kaa’s riddles (bandits).
- Helicopter crash mission.
*Also don’t farm any loot or bring with you anything apart from ammo and consumables when going for a main story quest because if you die inside a quest instance you will not be able to recover your stuff.
**When tasked with going to the Radar make sure you have at least a couple of hours of spare time and bring an LMG with you! (both factions can get RPD from a quest in the Bar).
Side Quests
There are numerous side quests scattered across the Zone, some of them are accessible only for one of the factions while others are available for everyone or are mirrored.
Side quests are indicated by purple exclamation marks and diamonds on the map however there are also quite a few secret side quests so explore the world and interact with NPCs and environment!
Additionally unlike MSQ your choices during side quests do affect your rewards and it’s even possible to fail some of them so read carefully. One of the greatest examples of this is Freeman’s questline in Swamps with 4 different AKS-74u as possible rewards.

Linden vs Player Dialogue
- Oh, good morning, sunshine! So, you back in the land of the living? Why are you staring at me? Do you remember anything? Or are you about to ask me what year it is?
- My head is killing me… l… was in a boat… Then it all goes cloudy…
- I bet! Your boat managed to hit some kind of underwater anomaly. We barely pulled you out alive. The local doctor resuscitated you, but I guess he had a lot of work to do, so he asked me to check in on you. Now you’re finally awake, little mermaid!
- Yeah, thank you. Where am I, though?
- We’re in the Swamps, in the south of the Zone. We have a stalker base here… You can think of it as something of a security checkpoint before entering into the real Zone.
- The Zone… I thought that was just something from my dreams…
- The man frowns. Dreams, you say? What kind of dreams?
- I’ve been suffering from nightmares. A light… and some kind of blue sphere… I saw the Zone. And heard a voice…
- I see. You must be Blessed…
- To be honest, that doesn’t mean much to me.
- The stalker scratches his head. I’m not the right person to explain all of this. You need to find Shaman. He’s the local authority on these things. He knows better than anyone about what’s going on with the Blessed… That’s right, you aren’t the only one like that here. More and more people are coming, telling the same story: dreams, voices, hallucinations… We’re trying to figure it all out.
- A shaman or a witch doctor, makes no difference. Can you tell me where he is?
- Not so fast, pal. The locals found you, but you know how it is: we’re not running a charity here. Plus, Shaman only gets involved with people who’ve made a name for themselves and shown their use to society. You get me?
- I see. You’re forcing work for me?
- Nah, I was just passing through here, really. You need to go see the head of the base, Ataman. Take a look around while you’re at it. This may not be a five-star resort, but we’ve got all the essentials: a mechanic, a bar, a shop…
- It’d do me good to get my bearings: Will you help?
- Alright, now look… The first thing you need to know is that in the Zone, not having a PDA is like not having a limb! That goes for stalkers and bandits… PDAs have all kinds of useful info on them: a map, a list of tasks, your friends… Basically, don’t be lazy. Take a look at everything.
- Got it.
- You’re probably sick of being bedridden and want some fresh air? I heard that a newbie found some loot in an old dugout near the base. Questionable location for a stash… Maybe you should check it out?
- Sounds good. I wouldn’t say no to a little outing.
- Although you’ll probably run into an anomaly right by the entrance to the dugout… But what’s the Zone without anomalies, eh? You’ll have to learn to avoid them. Go there. I’ll send the coordinates to your PDA. When you get close, I’ll contact you and tell you how to avoid the anomalies.
- Will do.
- One more thing… You might not want to go blabbing around to everyone that you’re Blessed. People come in all types… They say there are already some rough folks around here who view the Blessed as a threat. If they hear about you, it might bring trouble down on your head. You don’t want that, right?
- Thanks.for the tip. What’s your name, anyway?
- Oh, I didn’t say? Linden. Call me Linden, pal. If you need anything, I’m your man! By the way, before you head to the dugout, check your PDA. I set a task for you.
- Noted. Thanks again, Linden. I’m going to try to get my bearings around here…
Kill Linden or Not
Main story choices don’t really matter. You get the same rewards and the story goes where it wants to go. Side quests are different. Your choices can change rewards or make you fail. If you save Linden, he shows up later. But you have to fight out of the base and Orderlies in the Zone will attack you. This means more enemy camps.
Spoilers Ahead!!!
- If you save linden he will be alive he will help you in the main story [mega spoiler] he will die saving you.Spoiler
- If you kill linden but saved blessed guys, orderlies will start the battle with you and linden will be dead.
- If you kill linden but also killed blessed guys, jaundice will be alive and will live.
Arena Quest Boss
How to Defeat Amaury Boss
- Run take ammo.
- Heal by cd.
- Zoom in and shoot his head.
- Don’t stop shooting and dont run too far out of his sight.
- Shoot until his zombies start to walk (that gets you to less than 50%hp).
- Zombies are easy to out run, simply don’t let them hit you and don’t zoom in to battle them.
- When they die instant shoot boss non stop even when new zombies spawn you are still able to deal another few % hp dmg.
- Repeat steps from step 6.
I beated him 2 or 3rd times. The first time I fought he had no clue how to fight. But the whole boss was easy.
