Few tips that might help you to defeat ferals.

They have a hard head top – which needs to be destroyed. It takes a bit of practice to hit the head.

Cheap Tricks

1. Stand on car and shoot its head. As long as it isn’t a huge surface it can’t get you.
2. Use car to kill it. Drive with engine first, spin turn around so back faces feral (takes a tiny bit of practice to learn how to do a 180 spin without losing mommentum then back up into it). You need to spin at a point where there is about 10 feet distance between you and feral. This confuses the feral.
3. Smoke grenade. Throw smoke grenade and stand inside of it. Keep hitting until dead. In smoke all enemies lose your position. The Smoke hides you, the smoke does not confuse them.
4. Stand on top of a spiked car such as Liberator.

Normal Tricks

1. Use gun shoot it in the head twice.
2. Use heavy meele – pop a Stamina keep hitting it. By 3rd hit it is temporarily stunned and can be executed (practice in lower difficulty first).

Advanced Trick

1. Let it come close and press dodge (no directional keys) when it swipes. Then attack it only 3 times. It will dodge back, then it will swipe again. Dodge (no directional key) keep repeating until dead.
