The Lost Village – Useful Tips and Tricks

Tips and Tricks For Beginners

Skillbooks

The crane book you get from defeating the Illusion Entrance first boss may not seem like much, but it’s actually pretty valuable, if you get your run to 2nd skill tier (4 skill rooms), every time MC gets a skill up, your team members also get a random skill up and the crane book’s skills will add decent chunk of DPS to your team. Use the crane on your skill-less (generic) disciples so they can contribute, don’t use it on MC because you’ll need the skill points for other skills.

Next tip for skillbooks, if you are looking for healing… there might be more:

  • Northern Sutra: Revival – 15% groupheal (CD – 50 sec) <- My favorite so far, but have to test Silver Star
  • Silver Star: No-Self – 300% WIS as groupheal (CD – 90 sec)
  • Taoist Mastery: Xu-mirror – 2% groupheal (CD – 35 sec)
  • Summon Book: Purify – 10 % selfheal (CD – 80 sec)
  • No Blade: Ksitigarbha – receive crit, 10% def as heal (CD – 1 sec)
  • Lightning Sutra: Growth – receive damage, 20% change for 4 hp heal (CD – 1 sec)

Don’t miss out on your spiritual beast training!

Training increases a trainee’s random attribute by a whopping +3 per cycle. Consider that your Beast initally has around 20 trainings–that’s 60 points of attributes laying on the table at the beginning of the game! Better, you can refresh the training pool points by feeding your spiritual beast the right food.

If you want to create a crazy powerhouse, get your Faith Store working, buy the training broth, feed it to the beast, and train to your heart’s content. It’ll be a spread of points randomly assigned but it’s still WAY more efficient than waiting on potential.

Use your potential points to round the rough edges of your stats or to emphasize abilities, but use your Beast to boost you up as you build.

Character Tip

When creating the character if you have 2 Taoist points left and you don’t know were to put them Principle gives you Penance, a red trait that gives you a HUGE boost on mental, for only 2 points.

Red traits usualy cost 15 points. Nimble also proved to be a pretty special trait for me costing 8 points for a whooping +110% cultivation speed and 20 dodge.

XP Tips

  • If the goal is to get more XP in the shorter amount of time, then you should do everything to complete the tower as fast as possible, for example, taking the +200% ATK modifier.
  • Since you get considerably more XP when you reach Condense and then Incarnation/Tribulation, if you are strong enough, doing a higher realm Tower would yield way more XP, given that you can complete it equally fast.
  • You gain the same XP regardless of how many modifiers you have.
  • Difficulty modifiers do not influence the passed world time. If you finish the mission by 7 minutes, no matter how many modifiers, the same world time would have passed.
  • Characters who are cultivating in Playground/FengShui will have their XP increase according to the time passed!

How does the repair building work?

If you see a building reaching 0 durability then you can sound the alarm but you just babysitting one building dosent mean its priorized at all.

And well the disciple has to manually go to each building individually to repair them, that includes if the disciples its taking a break nothing gets repaired.

Tips for beating the illusion realm (refining)

  • When picking card read the aditional effects, some are really bad like reflect dmg.
  • Also try to balance room and don’t overfocus because they level up and you reach a point were they grow faster than you. (Never pick cursed room).
  • Others are mostly fine but i still remember on the first time i played don’t go to the master room, there’s a hidden event were they put really strong elites and that can kill you easily.
  • And well try to get skills for all the participants always helps if you can afford it.
