List of Items

Small Items

These items are small and doesn’t affect speed and stamina of the players. Some of these items are throwable which can stun the enemies. The throwable items have different effects on different types of enemies.

Lockpick: Used while opening locked containers which can be tool and first aid boxes. Can be found anywhere.

  • Common item.

Small/Large Medicine: Makes the player gain health. Can be found in anywhere. Especially in the first aid boxes. Large ones can be found in locked first aid boxes.

  • Small → Common item.
  • Large → Uncommon item.

Small/Large Battery: Recharges the night vision goggles. Can be found in the tool boxes and on the ground. Large ones can be found in locked tool boxes.

  • Small → Common item.
  • Large → Uncommon item.

Antidote: Makes the player regain their sanity. Can be found anywhere. Especially in the first aid boxes. Antidote can also be located when the sanity bar is completely empty.

  • Common item.

Adrenaline: Causes the player to have infinte stamina and a faster movement speed for a limited time. Can be found anywhere.

  • Common item.

Rig Recharger: Recharges the players rig after a use. Can be found in the tool boxes and on the ground.

  • Uncommon item.

Syringe: Let’s the player revive dead players. Players can revive other players that are bleeding out but this item will not speed up that process. Players that lose all their health and go down, and then proceed to bleed out or be killed, will be considered dead and can be brought back using this item. This item can only be found in glass boxes that can be found on walls.

  • Uncommon item.

To simplify: Players that are bleeding can be revived without this item, but dead players can only be revived with a syringe.

Brick/Bottle: Throwable items. When throwable items hit the enemies, the enemies will be stunned for a short time or the insane player-like enemies will be avoided completely. Bottles breaking doesn’t cause enemies to move towards the sound, May be fixed in the actual game. Can be found anywhere except in first aid and tool boxes.

  • Common item.

Non-Stored Small Items

These items are not stored in your inventory, they have no effect on stamina or speed.

Keys: Used to open gates. Can be found in symbol-marked human bodies in the “Police Station” level.

  • Mission item.

Big Items

These items decrease the player’s movement speed and stamina. They can not be stored in inventory.

Gasoline: Used for refueling the generators in the “Police Station” level.

  • Mission item.

Boxes: Boxes of documents that contain your public and private information in the tutorial. You have to destroy them in the shredder.

Secrets

These items are classified as secret or extremely rare items. These items can be big or small and stored or unstored in inventory.

Gift Room: A secret room which is opened by pressing 2 buttons that are on the same level simultaneously, in other words at the same time. This room contains many items, it helps the players tremendously. Randomly spawns.

Known location:

  • Police Station’s basement, laundry room.
  • Police Station’s interrogation room.

Master Key: Used as an unlimited lockpick that opens the locks in an instant. Can be found in the gift room. Super efficient in hard mode or solo runs. This item can be stored in inventory.

Extremely-Rare Item

Evidences: Collecting the required amount will reveal the lore of the game. Randomly spawns in specific locations.

  • Rare item.

  1. While not technically part of the currently available Police Trial, it might be worthwhile to mention the Box of Documents Big Item found in the tutorial level.

    Additionally as mentioned by someone else there is the “Loot Room” that spawns randomly on the map seemingly every time. Containing 2 boxes filled with useful consumables, including Syringes and the Master key which, from what I can tell from experience, always spawns one in that room and can be used to instantly unlock locks, bypassing the lock-picking mini-game entirely and also seems to have infinite uses.

  2. there is also a master key in a hidden room that may spawn that seemed to function as a infinite lockpick
