The Characters & How to Unlock Them
There are 8 new characters to unlock in the new DLC Legacy of the Moonspell and they are as follows:
- Miang.
- Menya.
- Megalo Menya.
- Syuuto.
- Megalo Syuuto.
- Babi-Onna.
- McCoy-Oni.
- Gav’Et-Oni.
- How to unlock Miang: Open the coffin in the Japanese style castle in the upper right side of the map.
- How to unlock Menya: Evolve the Silver Wand weapon.
- How to unlock Megalo Menya: For this you have to kill 100,000 enemies in a single run with Menya. The easiest way to do this is to set the weapon limit to 2, choose Wicked Season, Divine Bloodline and Silent Old Sanctuary. Pick the skull, both rings and metaglio to spawn more enemies more frequently.
- How to unlock Syuuto: Evolve the Four Seasons weapon.
- How to unlock Megalo Syuuto: Defeat 100,000 enemies in a single run with Syuuto. Use same strategy as you did for unlocking Megalo Menya.
- How to unlock Babi-Onna: Evolve the Summon Night weapon.
- How to unlock McCoy-Oni: Evolve the Mirage Robe.
- How to unlock Gav’Et-Oni: Defeat 6000 Kappa.
The New Weapons
There are 7 new weapons and they are:
- Silver Wind.
- Four Seasons.
- Summon Night.
- Mirage Orb.
- Night Sword.
- Mille Bolle Blu.
- 108 Bocce.
What to combine them with in order to upgrade them:
- Silver Wind —> Pummarola.
- Four Seasons —> Candelabrador and Spinach.
- Summon Night —> Duplicator.
- Mirage Orb —> Attractorb.
- Night Sword —> Stone Mask.
- Mille Bolle Blu —> Spellbinder.
- 108 Bocce —> As of writing this guide there is no evolution for this weapon.
Kappa spawn at the very bottom of the map, from the water. Hang out near the coast and skim it back and forth. It’s harder to collect what they drop, so use Attractorb or the upgraded Pentagram.
How do you set the weapon limit?
Assuming you have the Great Gospel relic you do it at the character selection screen, bottom left.
Not seeing the reason to set the weapon limit to 2.
for 100000 ennemies, it’s extemely easy : infinite mod with anything
For anyone needing the evolve achievements or 100k kills, just go to moonglow and do endless. the easiest way, plus you can farm coins and eggs on the new characters. Edit: I just finished 2 achievements this way so endless does work!
Actually many references in the game are understandable if you know italian language. For example Babi-Onna mixes italian “Babbiona” (being babbione or babbiona a silly person) with the japanese Onna (woman)
It seems like the best way to ensure you get the weapon evolutions is to play on the new map. Most if not all of the items needed to evolve weapons are pick-ups there.

Silver Wind is the starting weapon of the first unlockable character.
