Basic Kill Konvoy Strategy
The Map
This is a simple map for Kill Konvoy. It’s not real, just an example. Both Stompas move left in the game. One Stompa is usually ahead, based on the score. The space between them changes as you play. The whole map moves. The middle part also moves, depending on where the Stompas are.
Bad Defense
New players often guard the Stompa from behind or too close to it. This is called “bad defense.” There are problems with this:
- You have little time to stop the bomb carrier. You can only shoot when they’re close to your Stompa, which is where you don’t want them.
- If the bomb carrier runs past you, you can’t attack again.
- You can’t help your team’s bomb carrier score.
I’ve seen games where most players defend like this. It doesn’t work well. Two of us tried to score while six others just defended badly.
If you defend this way for too long, you only control the area near your Stompa. The other team can then control the rest of the map.
The Midfield
The middle part of the game area is very important. If your team controls this area, it helps both defense and offense. Your defense can stop enemy players carrying the bomb more easily. Your team’s bomb carrier can also move forward more safely.
To control this area, you need to keep enemies out of most of the space between the two bases. This means moving around a lot. Remember that the middle area changes as the bases and bomb spawn move.
How to Control the Midfield
A good way to do this is to start at your base and move forward as a team. Don’t rush to the enemy base. Instead, work together to defeat enemy players as you go. After clearing an area, check around you for more enemies. Don’t go off alone. Stay with your team. It’s better to clear the area completely than to try to take the bomb through a bunch of enemies.
Importance of Healing
The healer car isn’t used much, but it’s very helpful. Here’s why:
- Points: A goal gives the enemy 60 points. A kill only gives 10. Keeping your team alive stops the enemy from getting points.
- Dead teammates can’t help: When someone dies, they have to start over far away. This wastes time. Healing stops this.
- Capturing areas: Healers help the team stay in one spot longer.
- Fighting tanks: The healer car can beat tanks by moving around them.
The healer car might not be popular, but it can help your team win.

Also the stompa mega rockets should do something other than be cosmetic; I really dislike all the cosmetic weaponry in this game, like the snazzwagon forward mounted big shoota, or the grot tank’s right side sponsoon, or the looted tank’s grenade launcher
