Age of Magic – Guide to Resources / Silver and Experience Potions

Quick Guide to Resources in AoM

AoM is a multi-resource and multi-currency game. Experience Potions and Silver are essential for both beginners and endgame players. Collecting enough Silver is one of the first challenges that beginners have. But don’t worry, playing regularly little by little you will reach a balance.

What are Experience Potions for?

They have a single purpose, to level up heroes. There are 6 types of Experience Potions, all with the same purpose, but the more powerful the potion, the less quantity is needed.

What is Silver for?

Along with potions, Silver is the other essential resource to level up your heroes:

  1. Silver is required to increase the rarity of the heroes (gold stars). When you have enough shards for the next star, you will need silver for the upgrade.
  2. Craft and level up gear.
  3. Another use of Silver is to purchase items on the Market.

How do I get free Experience Potions and Silver?

Almost all game modes give these resources as rewards to a greater or lesser extent. It is important to keep an eye out for special events, such as appearances of legendary heroes, which enable a special market where it may be possible to buy Experience Potions (which as you progress through the game can be scarce) with some type of event currency.

Indirect ways to Acquire Silver and Experience Potions

Silver Talismans and Chests of Silver: Silver Talismans are an indirect way to acquire Silver. You can collect these Talismans and use them to open Chests of Silver under the Resources tab. Each Chest requires 2,000 Silver Talismans and grants a random amount of Silver, ranging from 250,000 to 60,000,000.

Both of these Chests can be found in the Market Resources tab.

Talismans of Knowledge and Chests of Knowledge: Similar to Silver Talismans, Talismans of Knowledge are an indirect way to acquire Experience Potions.

You can collect these Talismans and use them to open Chests of Knowledge under the same Resources tab. Each Chest requires 2,000 Talismans of Knowledge and grants a good amount of Experience Potions.

Where to find these Talismans:

There are seven Challenges in total, and you can participate in at least two every day. Pay close attention to the specific challenges offered. On Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, the “Sorcerers Duel” is a particularly good way to earn Silver.

The “Live by the Sword” challenge, offered on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays, helps you earn Experience Potions. By incorporating these additional methods, you’ll have a well-rounded strategy to secure a steady flow of Silver and Experience Potions in AoM. Remember, wise management of these resources is key to progressing in the game!

Challenges will allow you to use your strongest heroes of each class.

Silver Management Strategies

  • Tip 1: Market Manipulation: The Market will always show 8 items purchasable with Silver. At least 6 of them will be items that some hero is missing. This makes it possible to force the appearance of desired items for heroes who are prioritizing gear up. To take advantage of this possibility, carefully choose which heroes to level up (since as you level up, the gear slots are unlocked). Keep in mind that there are 4 free market renewals per day.

Below low level equipment (2) and below high level (4).

  • Tip 2: Administration of the “Lord of Silver” Milestone: There are 21 daily stages to which the maximum is reached by spending 9,500,000 of Silver on whatever you can spend. This means that it is not recommended to spend more than this per day, especially if you are a beginner player.
  • Tip 3: Managing a Surplus of Silver: If you achieve a surplus of Silver, spend it on the Silver Milestones of Legendary Heroes events.

I sincerely hope this was helpful. Good luck to you!
