AION 2 – Ideal Stat Lines Guide

Stat Lines

Every piece of gear has Stat Lines that come on it. These Stat Lines can be changed by using Synch Stones or another piece of gear of the equivalent grade. Yellow gear requires Yellow Synch Stones or equivalent Yellow gear, while Unique gear requires Unique Synch Stones or equivalent Unique gear.

Using a lower-grade Synch Stone on higher-grade gear, such as a Yellow or Unique Synch Stone on an Orange/Heroic item, has a 10% chance for the stat to be rerolled. This should never be done.

Obtaining Synch Stones

Synch Stones are obtained through Substance Morphing using:

  • Synch Stone Fragments, which are mainly obtained by running dungeons
  • Yellow or Unique gear pieces

Rerolling Stat Lines with Reset Books

Another method of rerolling Stat Lines is using orange Soul Codex: Reset books, commonly referred to as Reset Books.

Reset Books reroll every Stat Line at once.

Choosing Stat Lines

When rolling Stat Lines, always prioritize the lines with the lowest percentage rolls listed below. Fishing for the lower-percentage lines can be particularly difficult on Heroic gear.

If you obtain the best-in-slot combination, you can transfer the gear to another piece using Transfer Stones while preserving the Stat Lines.

Try to avoid getting a low-percentage line on the additional Philosopher Stone line. This line does not carry over during transfer, so it will have to be rolled again on the new piece.

Be careful when using Orange/Heroic Transfer Stones because they are much harder to obtain. Transferring Yellow/Unique gear to another Yellow/Unique gear piece is relatively easy, but transferring anything to Orange/Heroic gear should be considered carefully.

The following Stat Lines are listed in order of priority based on their percentage chance to roll, not their actual damage value. For example, Weapon Damage Boost provides more actual damage than Damage Boost, but Damage Boost is listed higher because it has a lower percentage chance to roll.

The percentages vary from piece to piece, but the relative difference is the same. Use the listed values as a benchmark for identifying the rarity of the Stat Lines.

The following Stat Lines are for Global.

Accuracy and Critical Requirements

Bosses have defensive stats that counter Accuracy and Critical Hit. The following Accuracy and Critical Hit values are the targets given for end-game raid bosses to avoid missing and maintain maximum Critical.

Additional stats also contribute to Accuracy and Critical. For example, PvE Accuracy and Block Penetration should be added when reaching the Accuracy and Critical caps listed below.

This means the Accuracy and Critical values shown under Stat Info > Main Stats will be lower than the total values listed below.

These requirements are not yet confirmed for Global.

RaidAccuracyCritical
Ludra Raid15001600
Corroded Raid23502500
Muspel (Normal) Raid??
Muspel (Hard) Raid28003150

The numbers above may not be exact and should be around these values. Exact numbers are difficult to establish because the content is somewhat outdated. The exact requirements for Muspel Normal are not provided.
