Homeland Guide with Tips
This guide covers Homeland progression, food production, farming, Aniimo management, Habitability, Bud Tickets, and Home Index progression.
Feeding Aniimo
At the beginning of your Homeland adventure, quests require you to feed your Aniimo Energy Bites, which cost 30 Home Coins each.
There are other ways to feed your Aniimo without having to check your food supply as often as every 24 hours and without spending Home Coins.
Wheat Seeds
Wheat Seeds are free, and you can purchase up to 15,000 per day.
Once you obtain the Carousel Mill at RV Level 2, you can make Wheatmeal. This makes feeding your Aniimo less of a chore.
The guide uses Wheatmeal to feed 22 Aniimo.
Rose Shortbread
Once you obtain your first Dream Spark through Home Index > Index Score, and if you are lucky enough to obtain a Home Tilling Chest by tilling your friends’ gardens five times a day, you can purchase the recipe for Rose Shortbread from the Home Shop.
Using Rose Shortbread means that even at maximum capacity at RV Level 8, the food supply takes approximately one month and 11 days to completely deplete when feeding 23 Aniimo.
To make Rose Concentrate, you need to have the following unlocked:
- Rose
- Simmering Pot
- Wheatmeal
- Well
Since you have already been producing Wheatmeal at this point, it is already available for use as an ingredient.
Farming Setup
At RV Level 8, the example farming area has eight plots unlocked.
Place the cooling and heating units near the plants that require them.
The example setup uses:
- Roses: surrounding the cooling unit
- Wheat: growing in the other available area
- Sakura: growing around the heater
- Bamboo: three plants behind the heater
Facilities and Production
The example setup uses the following facilities:

All four Mines are Level 2 and are being used to produce Clay.
Seeds and Home Index
It is recommended to obtain around 50 of each seed if you can afford them. If you cannot afford that many, get at least one of each for your Home Index Score.
If you have saved your Plant Growth Tonics, they can be used to help fill your Home Index. Speed up the growth of 10 of each plant, or however many are needed to complete at least one of each recipe currently available to you, in order to obtain the associated Home Index points.
Checking Item Requirements
You can check how to acquire an item and what is required to make it through a facility’s settings.
- Open the facility’s settings.
- Select the item you want to make.
- The interface shows how you can acquire the item and what you need to make it.
Efficient Aniimo Management
The example setup uses specific Aniimo lines for certain facilities.
- Shushuta Line: needed for the Tidewhisper Sandcastle
- Dewy Line: two Aniimo are needed for the Phonolfactory Table and Dewy House
A Panpanta is used for the Tidewhisper Sandcastle.
Recommended Traits
The recommended traits are:

If you do not want multiple Dewy Aniimo, or two Fragranciers as recommended, you can manually assign Aniimo to specific work areas.
To do this:
- Enter Build Mode.
- Select the Aniimo.
- Drag it to the specific area where you want it to work.
The guide’s setup replaced a Fulgantis with a third Firing Aniimo because it was considered not worthwhile to make normal and blue-tier Aniipods. If you are actively catching Aniimo, you receive money that can be used to purchase hundreds or thousands of Aniipods if needed.
Other Useful Aniimo
A Shiny Sherro obtained from a quest can also be used in the farm.
Once you have acquired it, assign it to work at the Well.
Habitability and Bud Tickets
At RV Level 8, Habitability and Bud Tickets become relevant.
Aniimo tags such as Sparkling and Prismana affect Habitability.
The values described are:

Aniimo with both Sparkling and Prismana tags provide the highest Habitability value described in the guide.
At RV Level 8, this is relevant to farming Bud Tickets, the star currency used in the Homeland.
Bud Tickets
Bud Tickets can be used to obtain items for decorating your Homeland and for other Homeland progression activities.
They can be used toward:
- Buying Homeland items
- Completing a crafting or cooking recipe
- Buying a seed for the first time
- Buying a furnishing item for the first time
- Growing a plant for the first time
These activities contribute to your Home Index.
Home Index Rewards
Increasing your Home Index provides rewards that include:
- Clothing items in the shop
- Additional Upgrade Toolboxes for upgrading the perks on your RV
Completing these Home Index activities is important if you want to obtain the Toolboxes available through the Home Index.
If your only goal is to obtain the Prismana Egg, you can instead do the bare minimum required for the Home Index and spend less effort developing the rest of the Homeland.
