Dimraeth – Double Strike T3 Hard Build Guide

Double Strike Shadow/Elf Build

This Shadow/Elf build focuses on Double Strike while minimizing downtime by using Many-Cut Shadows for additional versatility.

The build uses two exclusive Shadow/Elf nodes, Septic Aftercut and Many-Cut Shadows. Together, they allow two spell rotations that can both trigger Septic Aftercut.

This makes it possible to proc Double Strike through both Many-Cut Shadows, which has a 12-second cooldown, and Echos of Mutilation, which has a 10 to 12-second cooldown.

Keep in mind that Septic Aftercut can only be activated every 10 seconds. Many-Cut Shadows can be used while Echos of Mutilation is on cooldown, while also providing another way to trigger Septic Aftercut if Echos of Mutilation is missed.

Rotation

The rotation alternates between Echos of Mutilation and Many-Cut Shadows.

First Rotation

  1. Use Tendon Slice followed by Vanish Strike to apply 10 Bleed.
  2. Use Echos of Mutilation to consume the 10 Bleed stacks and turn them into Double Strike through Septic Aftercut.
  3. Use auto attacks to consume the 10 Double Strike stacks.

Second Rotation

  1. Use Tendon Slice followed by Vanish Strike again to apply 10 Bleed.
  2. Instead of using Echos of Mutilation, use auto attacks until Many-Cut Shadows procs. Many-Cut Shadows can also trigger Septic Aftercut if its cooldown is available.
  3. If you cannot stay in melee range, wait until you can dash back in with Echos of Mutilation.
  4. Continue auto attacking until Double Strike runs out.
  5. Repeat the rotation.

Stat Priority

Prioritize the following stats:

  1. Crit Damage
  2. Crit Chance
  3. Physical Damage
  4. Attack Damage
  5. Thrust Damage

Gear

The listed gear is:

  • +6/6 Lionspear
  • +2/2 Duskbloom
  • +2/2 Moonthorn
  • +2/2 Thornborn

Build Focus

Outside of the main nodes, the build focuses on damage, prioritizing Crit Chance and Crit Damage.

There may be ways to further optimize the skill tree.

Playstyle and Survivability

This is a glass cannon build. You will die if you are hit, especially on Hard difficulty.

The build is designed to minimize downtime between Double Strike activations. Many-Cut Shadows provides an alternative way to proc Septic Aftercut while Echos of Mutilation is on cooldown, while Echos of Mutilation can still be used when remaining in melee range is difficult.

A variant that removes Echos of Mutilation entirely has also been tested, but it has been found to be unreliable at times.
