Deep Rock Galactic – How to Get More Money

Tips to Get More Credits

For What and Why

I burn anywhere between 150,000 and 800,000 credits a week in promos. Just depends on when my group can meet. So yeah I need credits more than most.

How-To

It boils down to how often you play. You will make more if you play daily vs 2-3 days a week.

The less you play the more its worth it spending time to lick every mineral off the wall. Ignore wasting credits on cosmetics if you can. They will still be there.

Always take the daily deals on the mineral trade hub. It does add up to real savings with time.

Take high credit missions.

Time = money

When you run with other noobs things are just going to go slow. There’s nothing you can really do about that. Every minute you spend you need to squeeze for money.

Avoid modifiers like no shield or elite. Yeah they pay more but your noobs are going to suck hard a**. It just ends up killing them more and slowing you down.

Avoid mining expedition or escort missions. These tend to burn a lot of time in random groups and at the end of the day you dont walk out with more in credits than had you crammed in 2 other missions back to back before the 30 min map roll

Mineral mania is a good modifier if you intend to lick the walls clean.

Always do the weekly missions

  • Keep track of how much you are blowing per week. I know its nerdy but it legit helps.
  • Write down how many credits/mineral per promo per class each week. This can give you a budget you need to build on.
  • Once you know how much roughly you are burning per week you can keep watch of how much you have and grind accordingly.
  • Any mission that last you, not the host, more than 30 mins is eating your credits.

This is because the map rolls every 30 mins and you could be running a better map with more credits/minerals than what you are currently on. Keep track of the remaining time left before the map roll. I know its terrible but late joining missions is worth it early on.

  • The mission timer at the end is the host not you.
  • Once you are done with the seasonal content. Avoid litho missions at all cost.
  • These just slow noobs to a crawl many times and end up costing you credits with the time it eats, especially with a bad team.
