ELDEN RING: Shadow of the Erdtree – Drain Tank Build Guide

This Build Breaks All Bosses

Hey guys been having a blast eating bosses for breakfast with this build in the DLC, hope you try it out.

By power stancing both the butchering knife and the bonny butchering knife, each power stance attack restores 2% of your max HP. Combine this with the Dragoncrest Greatshield talisman, the Pearldrake Talisman, and/or any of the other magical resistance talismans to become pretty damn hard to kill.

Add on enough endurance to wear some beefy armor to complete the resistances. You can then augment your healing with the Godskin Swaddling Cloth to give you 30 + 3% max hp after 5 hits (you get 2 per L2 attack) or after 2 power stance jump attacks.

Further healing can be gained from the Prayerful Strike ash (this one actually saved me a lot in boss fights). I use the Taker’s Cameo while im mobbing and then when im in a boss fight, I switch it out for more resistances or the Crimson Seed Talisman for more flask healing.

Been obliterating the DLC with this build and it’s been super fun. I don’t think you need to be quality on your butcher’s knife, I think you could run this build with:

  • 40-60 Vigor (60 tends to make this work a lot better because the more HP you have, the more the % healing is worth).
  • 16 Strength (then dump into this stat for more damage up to like 60, maybe 80 idk).
  • 20 Dex (Bonny butchering knife scales better with strength, so not much need to go past this).
  • 30-50 Endurance if you don’t want to be heavy equip load.

That’s all! I really appreciate it if you’ve made it this far. See you in the game!
