Genshin Impact – Build Analysis: Kokomi Weapons and Artifacts Rating (Version 3.8)

Introduction

Сrеdit gоеs to pastneverdje!

Welcome to this new post format! This post is not a build guide for Kokomi, but rather an analysis of the best weapons and artifacts (sets and combinations) for her. Weapons and artifacts will be divided into classes S, A, B, and C, with S being the most recommended and C the least recommended.

Therefore in each class artifacts and weapons will be ordered in numbers, from the most recommended to the least recommended. Each option will be explained in order to better understand what choice to make for your Kokomi.

Weapons and artifact that don’t appear in the post are not recommended for Kokomi at all.

Weapons

S Tier

Everlasting Moonlow

Best Weapon for Kokomi and until now it’s the one that makes her heal better. Its a good weapon, but the healing is slightly better that the Prototype Amber (4-star and F2P), therefore it’s not worth pulling it. It’s also not a weapon that can be used by many characters, other than Kokomi and Barbara. If you want to maximize Kokomi’s healing you can consider pulling it, but it’s still not a great weapon to be 5 star and it makes more sense to pull other 5 star weapons.

A Thousand Floating Dreams

Best weapon for Kokomi if you need to use her as a Hydro Enabler on a team with dendro reactions. The EM buffs and DMG bonuses that the weapon gives to the team are very good. It is a very good weapon for EM builds and can also be used by several other characters besides Kokomi.

Prototype Amber

Best 4-star weapon that works well with Kokomi. It is craftable, therefore F2P and accessible to all. The passive is very useful as it regenerates energy and Kokomi has a high energy cost.

A Tier

Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers

Despite being a 3-star weapon, it’s actually very good. The healing isn’t that much lower than the Prototype and thanks to the passive it gives a big ATK buff to a character on the team you switch Kokomi with. The only problem is that it doesn’t give any energy recharges from the passive and it could be problematic to manage the rotation of the team.

Sacrificial Fragments

Good 4 stars weapon and ideal for Kokomi EM. Since the main stat is EM obviously it has a lower healing than the other weapons, but the reactions related to hydro and dendro do much more damage than the other 3 and 4 star weapons. The passive that allows you to reposition the jellyfish is also useful.

B Tier

Hakushin Ring

Decent weapon but F2P and obtainable by all players through a series of quest in Inazuma. The Healing is relatively inferior to the other weapons mentioned above but since it has an ER stat it does not create problems for the team rotation. Also gives a nice buff to the rest of the team when an elemental reaction is triggered.

Artifacts

S Tier

X4 Ocean-Hued Clam

Best set for Kokomi which, in addition to increasing Kokomi’s healing, also does good DMG thanks to the exploding Sea-Dyed Foam which does damage based on 90% of the accumulated HP.

X4 Flower of Paradise Lost

Is the best set if you want to build EM Kokomi for dendro-related teams. It increases the EM but also the x4 bonus is very good which particularly increases the DMG of all reactions which include Dendro and Hydro.

A Tier

X2 Tenacity of Millelith – Vourukasha’s Glow

Good alternative to the Ocean-Hued if you have trouble getting high HP and maybe don’t have a weapon with HP as the main stat .It focuses on Kokomi’s healing while neglecting possible team buffs that other sets provide.

X2 Ocean-Hued Clam – HP set

It’s not much different from X2 Tenacity of Millelith – Vourukasha’s Glow, it’s just another alternative that focuses on healing Kokomi with no buffs for the team.
