How to Play Klee
All credit goes to pastneverdje!
Klee is a 5 star pyro catalyst dps who is a good on-field dps. In the current game, Klee is not a must pull. There are stronger pyro dps, like Hu Tao and Yoimiya, and she is not really useful in the last abyss. However she remain a good dps. Klee’s damage comes mainly from her Charged Attacks, which dont have ICD so it doesn’t create problems for reactions.
Her skill also function as off-field damage thanks to the little bombs created by Jumpty Dumpty. Klee is easy to build since she has many artifact options and her most used artifact combination, x2 CWoF and x2 ATK set, is easy to have because there are plenty of set with the +18% ATK bonus. In this guide I also intend to include Burgeon Klee, a very underrated build and playstyle but that I find fun to play and with good results, as the Klee kit has good synergy with the Burgeon reaction.
Klee’s Kit
Normal Attack: Kaboom!
Normal Attack
Throws things that go boom when they hit things! Performs up to 3 explosive attacks, dealing AoE Pyro DMG.
Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina and deals AoE Pyro DMG to opponents after a short casting time.
Plunging Attack
Gathering the power of Pyro, Klee plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE Pyro DMG upon impact with the ground.
Skill: Jumpy Dumpty
Jumpy Dumpty is tons of boom-bang-fun! When thrown, Jumpy Dumpty bounces thrice, igniting and dealing AoE Pyro DMG with every bounce.
On the third bounce, the bomb splits into many mines. The mines will explode upon contact with opponents, or after a short period of time, dealing AoE Pyro DMG.
Starts with 2 charges.
Notes
- When at least one bounce hits at least one enemy, it generates 4 Elemental Particles.
- The mines don’t generate Elemental Particles.
- 8 mines are produced.
- The mines generated by this skill can be grouped up by Jean/Kazuha/Sucrose/Traveler (Anemo)’s Elemental Skills.
- This does not occur with Venti’s Elemental Skill and Burst.
- Kazuha’s Elemental Skill will also alter the course of Jumpy Dumpty, making it bounce on the spot.
- When a second Jumpy Dumpty is thrown and produces mines, the mines of the first will explode.
Burst: Sparks ‘n’ Splash
Klee’s Blazing Delight! For the duration of this ability, continuously summons Sparks ‘n’ Splash to attack nearby opponents, dealing AoE Pyro DMG.
Notes
- The effects of this skill end when Klee leaves the field.
1st Passive: Pounding Surprise
When Jumpy Dumpty and Normal Attacks deal DMG, Klee has a 50% chance to obtain an Explosive Spark. This Explosive Spark is consumed by the next Charged Attack, which costs no Stamina and deals 50% increased DMG.
Notes
- When performing a Charged Attack with an Explosive Spark, Klee’s Interruption Resistance is greatly increased.
2nd Passive: Sparkling Burst
When Klee’s Charged Attack results in a CRIT Hit, all party members gain 2 Elemental Energy.
