Jagged Alliance 3 – Game Not Starting / Possible Fix

How to Fix

Game didn’t launch. Ja3.exe = Error could not start game. Please restart.

Fix in my Case: Uninstall EpicGames Launcher

So I searched Event-Logs which brought:

Name der fehlerhaften Anwendung: JA3.exe, Version: 0.1.0.0, Zeitstempel: 0x64afe557
Name des fehlerhaften Moduls: ntdll.dll, Version: 10.0.19041.3155, Zeitstempel: 0x5212ece5

Further Logs showed:

• LoadedModule[69]=D:\Games\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Extras\Overlay\EOSOVH-Win64-Shipping.dll

So I got curious about why this module would have to load. I decided to uninstall EpicGamesLauncher and JA3 finally launched!
