Jagged Alliance 3 – How to Make Game Easier

“Very Easy” Mod

Сrеdit gоеs to FlyingDutchman !

My essential takes on the game are the following:

  • Not every merc is usefull without training, so use training (no need to abuse it but a couple training sessions are important)
  • Use the I.M.P. mercenary
  • Take cheap high wisdom characters like barry, livewire etc. and train their accuracy, agility and dexterity (I take those 2 basically every run, Barrys granades are insane esp early)
  • I usually run 2 people with silenced snipers to thin out the enemy (one taking the alpha shot, the other using the “surprise shot” that remains (enemies are not alerted untill the second shot)
  • Zone of control is essential for almost every engagement as it allows you to shoot more
  • Regarding weapons I mostly run snipers/M14 and MGs, always take put bipods and increase the number of zone of control attacks (with snipers 3 shots), sometimes barry with a shotgun
  • Positioning pre-engagement decides basically every fight, plan ahead and let the enemy come to you and into your kill zone. Do not move into theirs!
  • Being prone is better than cover, your people get hit less aswell but recieve a massive accuracy bonus from bipods
  • MGs are insanely strong but use them as back up for difficult fights due to the high ammo use

I m currently doing an achievement run with 2 mercs maximum at any given time, difficulty is mission impossible, without reload during battles etc. Currently I am doing the last missions (final bunker).
