Guide to Cores

General core rules
- Always go for atk stat for the cores on the left and right. (Atk > HP > Def). Top cores are always HP.
- Important stats for characters. There are 1 or 2 stats highlighted in an orange color; This is a stat that you should try to get in every core. See picture for reference.
- The best stats in the game are pen, crit rate, crit dmg.
- Debuff dmg bonus, long-range dmg bonus and short-range dmg bonus are situational. Only take them above pen and the others if these are in orange highlighted color. Other statistics are not so important.
- Prioritize 2-set and 4-set cores above the stats. The set bonus is more powerful.
Lyla / Marco Best Cores
Both Lyla and Marco like the gatlynn gun and HMG, they do best with guns that fire fast. Therefor we get cores that enhance this synergy.
- 4x Dragon Nosuke Core: PEN +12% & For every 15 shots hitting the target, increase ATK by 8% for 8s, up to 24% (The duration resets for each trigger)
- 2x jupiter King Core: Increase RoF by 12%
Scarlett Best Cores
Scarlet has “enhanced weapon” whenever she slams one of her balls back, she will get this state, so these cores boost this state.
- 4x Big Shiee Bomb Core: CRIT DMG +24% & RoF is increased by 50% when the character triggers Enhanced weapon.
- 2x Dragon Nosuke Core: PEN +12%
Option 2 (Vs bosses for example shootout or djini)
Scarlett has the best dps vs bosses. Try these cores next time you use her in shootout or vs the djini.
However make sure to stay close to the boss so you are in range for this boost. 5m max!
- 4x Space Tank Core: Close-Range DMG bonus increased by 12% & The character’s ATK is increased by 5% for every enemy unit existing within 5m. Max 25%. When there is a boss within range, the character directly gains full-stack ATK bonus.
- 2x Dragon Nosuke Core
Eva Best Cores
Eva likes to use a sniper, since this weapon shoots slow, we will take advantage by giving every shot after 4 sec a big boost in dmg.
- 4x Silence Core: CRIT DMG +24% & Increase the next shot DMG by 100% every 4s.
- 2x Dragon Nosuke Core: PEN +12%
Trevor Best Cores
Trevor is an assassin that likes to fight up close. Jumping onto enemies with a shotgun. So we want to boost his close range dmg aswell as his shot dmg since shotgun fire rate is pretty slow.
Trevor has 2 builds.
Trevor PVP
- 4x Silence Core: CRIT DMG +24% & Increase the next shot DMG by 100% every 4 seconds.
- 2x Space Tank Core: close-Range DMG bonus increased by 12% Or 2x Dragon Nosuke Core: +12% PEN
Trevor PVE
I don’t recommend using Trevor as main dps in PVE because he has very little HP, but if you do then this is his go to core set.
- 4x Space Tank Core: Close-Range DMG bonus increases by 12% & The Character’s ATK is increased by 5% for every enemy unit existing within 5m. Max 25%, When there is a boss within range, the character directly gains full-stack ATK bonus.
- 2x Dragon Nosuke Core: PEN +12%
Best Support (Spec-ops) Cores
Your team should consist of 1 dps (firepower) character and 2 support characters.
Gru, Tarma, Nadia, Haran, Eri and Fio are considered supports. You want to start your 2 supports and apply debuffs, then use your dps character to hit the debuff enemy. Therefor these support characters will run cores to boost your main character dmg instead of their own.
Gru / Tarma / Nadia / Haran / Eri / Fio
- 4x Steel Worm Destroyer Core: When character enters the battle, increase the ATK of all characters in the team by 15% for 10 seconds. Triggers once every 20 seconds. & when the character is in the team, increase the ATK of all deployed characters by 10%.
- 2x Fallwalker Core: When the character is in the team, increase the ATK of all deployed characters by 6%.
