Palia – Simple Crop Layouts

Simple Lazy Croplayouts

Сrеdit gоеs to Moon.0444!

Watering requires Micromanagement every day. Weed requires micromangement less but will still stop crops from growing.

Counter acting these 2 mehcanics means I dont have to do anything other then harvest, seed and fertilize. This in turn means that I don’t have to check the garden everyday.

Also as long as the main fertilizer is QualityUp, its maintainable with 2-3 regular worm feeders depending on how much of your rl day you spend in palia.

Remember, it seems like you need to be online for it grow past the next growth tick.

After gardening 25 you no longer need both HQ seeds and QualityUp, I’ll be running HQ seeds to free up crafting station slots.

Croplayout #1

Layout 1 is focused on blueberrys and contains an apple tree.

  • For ease of maintinance we are running quility up fertilizer from regular worm feeders except for the apple tree where we run weed prevention.
  • Placment focus is first blueberry efficiency, second coverage on Water retention and third weed prevention.
  • 100% water covarage, ~98,5% quality (fertilizer), ~93,5% weed prevention covarage (apples with fertilizer), ~84,5% harvest boost covarage, counted over number of crops.
  • The fact that cotton has no crop pairing means that the only cotton we place is one to have just a bit of income for fabric.
  • If your prefer HQ apples over not having to check the tree for weeds then do quality fertilizer on that too.
  • If you dont mind micro management and daily garden visits you can adjust fertilizer for 100% harvest boost and add as apropriate around the single cotton.
  • I will likely prefer Weed prevention on the apple tree and blindly spam QualityUp everywhere else most of the time.

Croplayout #2

Layout 2 is with only basic crops and can be maintained even without the quality up if you havent yet gotten worm feeders.

  • For ease of maintinance we are running quility up fertilizer from regular worm feeders, except 3 weed prev fertilizers.
  • Placment focus is first Water retention and second weed prevention.
  • 100% water covarage, ~96% quality (fertilizer), ~100% weed prevention covarage (3 weed fertilizer), ~87% harvest boost covarage, counted over number of crops.
  • The 3 weed prevention fertilizers should be added to the 3 “RH” crops (1 rice, 2 cotton)
  • If you want to up the gain slightly add growth boost fertilizer on the “RPHQ” crops at the cost of micromanagement.
  • Personaly I was lazy when I ran it and just blindly added 2-4 QualityUp to each tile without fertilizer any time I saw tiles without fertilizer.

Croplayout #3

Layout 3 is untested with the focus on 2 apple trees.

  • For ease of maintinance we are running quility up fertilizer.
  • Placment focus is first Water retention and second weed prevention.
  • 100% water covarage, 100% quality (fertilizer), ~83% weed prevention covarage, ~80% harvest boost covarage, counted over number of crops.
  • If you want to micromanage, run weed prevention fertilizer on the ones missing that and harvest boost on the ones that miss that but have weed prevention.
  • The fact that cotton has no crop pairing means that the only cotton we place is one to have just a bit of income for fabric.

Croplayout #4

Layout 4 is with only basic crops and the easiest to memorize.

  • Run your fertilizer of choice.
  • Placment focus is first Water retention and second weed prevention.
  • 100% water retention, 100% weed prevention covarage, 64,5% boost of choice from rice, wheat, cotton and 100% boost from your fertilizer of choice.
  • The rice can be swapped as you want.
