This is a short introduction to my beloved “idiotic golems” build.
Burning Madness Golems Build
Intro
I started with hell knight but somewhere around realm 40 my team was too weak and I did not want to completly reshape my crew. So I started to play around with the classes I already unlocked. I really liked the counter mechanism of the paladin and the monk, so I looked for a way to create some high end counterstrikers.
Looking though my creatures, I found some interesting counter mechanics, but none of them really worked for me (i.e. an imler+imlings combo where imler takes damagew and counters each time…). Then I saw my golems, esp Iron golem and magma golem. Could I make a team that just burns the enemy to death? After looking through some of the other creatures I found a really funny way to kill my enemies:
My golems must beat each other up!
Indeed thx to lava golems shared ability, each attack on any of my golems burns all enemies. And if they already burn, the potency of the attack goes up by 30%.
The Guide
The aim was clear: I need to build a team of often but extremly weak hitting fast golems (they shall go before the enemy) that also need to be quite intelligent for golems. That’s why I took the druid spec, which is imho the ideal combination for this team:
- Pack of one helps hitting more often.
- Sole survivor helps resiting dmg.
- Companion for the combo to work.
- Lone wolf for some extra burn.
Atm the only unused skills from druid are Disengagement and Killer Instinct. DO NOT USE THEM! We want to be hit and we do not want to crit!
I also made a macro with only 2 lines for easier fighting:
- Attack golems that do not have barriers.
- Defend if all allies have barriers.
It really worked fantastically.
With the group below I managed to defeat the final story boss:
