Starfield – How to Skip to New Game 10

Do you want to get the best starborn armor, ship, and maxed powers without having to reset your playthrough 10 times? Just follow this guide.

Disclaimer: Spoilers and Mods (Optional)

There are going to be some spoilers for the last mission and end game abilities and stuff. You have been warned.

If you’re like me and still care for your achievements, then you should probably install this mod. This process uses a lot of console commands so without this mod installed, you are not going to get anymore achievements with the playthrough you do this with.

Skipping to NG10

Firstly, get to the final story mission, “One Giant Leap” where you are about to enter the giant portal in Unity. Before you go into the portal, enter this console command (to pull up the console, use the “~” key):

player.modav PlayerUnityTimesEntered 10

Note: If by any chance you are doing this after already resetting playthoughs, and you still want to skip to 10 (For example, you’re already on NG5 wanting to go to NG10) just change the “10” in the command with whatever amount you have left before 10.

Example: If you are on NG5, type “player.modav PlayerUnityTimesEntered 5” and you’ll reach to 10.

Note: Also if you do not care for stats, and just like how the armor looks, you can just set your times entered to however much you need for the playthrough that gives said armor. Here’s a list of all the starborn armor and what NG grants them:

Now, after doing this, walk through the portal and on the other side you’ll see you’ll have the maxed out starborn spacesuit and ship. However, you still need to upgrade your powers. What the devs has in mind was every playthrough, you upgraded your powers once; so in total by now you should have discovered 240 temples. We are not going to do that. Here’s a list of all the commands you’ll need to type to max out your powers. Just spam them until each power is ranked 10.

Finished

Congrats! You now have the maxed out starborn armor, ship, and powers, alongside of saving a lot of free time, and your achievements!

This guide was made because I personally don’t like feeling locked out of the best armor in the game and I really did not want to spend about 10 hours straight doing nothing but collecting relics and going back to unity; and I’m sure other people felt the same way. Now you can play the game normally without that “NG grind.”

  1. wait so if I don’t care about stats and just want the look, do I have to upgrade my powers even still?

    • No you do not have to upgrade your powers, its just to my knowledge enemies scale with NG+ so at NG+10, basic level 1 powers won’t affect them as much as level 10 powers.

  2. Almost done with NG+1 & I’m already dreading doing any more before settling down to enjoy life. I think “The Trader” has the right idea. I particularly hate the temples, especially the go to Eye – go to temple – go to Eye cycle. So thanks for this guide!

  3. If you just want the armor, why not just spawn it in and apply your own legendary modification to it? No need for NG+ hopping, no need for save scumming, just a simple spawn and add to create your own.

    • Because starting in NG+1 you get [Starborn] dialogue options. At the very least I wanted to see how the story would change depending on these options, hence hopping to NG+.
