Decorations and Bonus to Store Capacity

Decorations can increase store capacity through items from the Deco and DIY apps. The combined decoration bonus is capped at +20 store capacity.

Items must be placed and applied in or on the shop to count toward the bonus. Simply purchasing an item does nothing.

There are four sources of decoration bonus:

1. Quantity of qualifying Deco App items
2. Cost of Deco App items
3. Qualifying items from the DIY App
4. Cards displayed using qualifying DIY App displays

Quantity Bonus from the Deco App

You receive +1 store capacity for every 20 qualifying Deco App items, up to a maximum of +5 capacity from 100 items.

The following Deco App items count toward this bonus:

• Posters
• Statues
• Signs
• Plants

These items can be used in any combination.

Wall, ceiling, and floor options are cosmetic only and do not count toward the quantity bonus.

There is no limit to the total quantity of qualifying Deco App items. You can exceed 100 items, although the quantity based bonus stops increasing after the first 100 items.

Cost Based Bonus from the Deco App

The amount spent on items from the Deco App also contributes to store capacity.

The bonus from each copy of an item is calculated as:

Bonus = (Cost of item) / 20,000 / (Instance number of that item)

Each additional copy of the same item provides a smaller bonus, creating diminishing returns.

For example, if a shiny Pigni statue costs $20,000:

The cumulative bonus from the first 10 copies is 2.929.

If you continue to 20 copies, the cumulative bonus becomes 3.598. Adding 10 more copies therefore provides only about 0.6 additional bonus.

There is no limit to the total quantity of Deco App items that can contribute to the cost based bonus.

Wall, ceiling, and floor options are cosmetic only and do not count.

Because the bonus is cost based, items with the same price provide the same bonus for the same instance number.

The tables for Deco App items list the bonus for each instance up to 10 copies. The calculation can continue beyond 10 copies, although the bonus from additional copies, particularly for cheap items, becomes small.

DIY App Item Bonus

Certain items from the DIY App provide a direct decoration bonus. These include:

• Card tables
• Card displays
• Card projectors
• Black play tables
• White play tables
• Tetramon circular shelves

Each of these items has a DecoBonus value.

The bonus is calculated as:

Bonus = DecoBonus of the item × Quantity of the item

These items have no diminishing returns. Each additional copy provides the same bonus.

For example, two Tetramon circular shelves can provide +2 store capacity.

Bonus from Displayed Cards

Cards displayed using items from the DIY App can provide an additional bonus based on their market value and the display they are placed in.

The bonus is calculated as:

Bonus = (Market value of card) / 50,000 × DecoBonus of display

The DecoBonus values are:

Display	DecoBonus
All card displays	0.25
Small projector	0.2
Medium projector	0.35
Large projector	0.5

The displayed card’s bonus is added to the DecoBonus of the display itself.

For example:

• A card worth $50,000 in a large projector provides +0.5 from the card. The large projector itself provides +0.5, for a total of +1 capacity.
• A card worth $92,857.14 in a medium projector provides +0.65 from the card. The medium projector provides +0.35, for a total of +1 capacity.
• A card worth $200,000 in a small projector provides +0.8 from the card. The small projector provides +0.2, for a total of +1 capacity.
• A card worth $150,000 in any display provides +0.75 from the card. The display provides +0.25, for a total of +1 capacity.

All cards within the display could have market values that equal $150,000 to produce the same result.

One example uses 16 different cards:

• 4 cards in large projectors
• 4 cards in medium projectors
• 4 cards in small projectors
• 4 cards in a 1×4 wall display

The displayed cards provide a total bonus of 5.07, while the projectors and card display themselves provide 4.45.

The combined bonus is:

5.07 + 4.45 = 9.52

This would round to +10 store capacity if this were all the decoration bonus being used.

Displayed card bonuses can fluctuate from day to day because they depend on market value. Cards may need to be rotated out if their values drop.

Using many displayed cards can also affect game performance and cause lag.

Example Build for +20 Capacity

One possible setup reaches the maximum +20 store capacity using items from both the Deco and DIY apps.

This particular setup includes a card display, but cards do not actually need to be displayed in it.

Deco App Items

The setup uses:

• One of all 72 posters
• One of all 13 signs
• One of all 7 plants
• 7 additional copies of any of the plants and/or signs, using one additional copy of each of the first 7 plants in the example
• 2 copies of each shiny statue that costs $20,000, for 8 statues total
• 1 copy of each statue that costs:
  • $7,500, for 2 statues
  • $8,000, for 1 statue
  • $9,000, for 1 statue
  • $10,000, for 2 statues
  • $12,000, for 1 statue

This produces 115 total Deco App items.

The first 100 items provide the maximum +5 quantity based bonus. All 115 items also contribute to the cost based bonus.

DIY App Items

The setup uses:

• 16 black or white play tables, in any combination
• 1 normal card table
• 1 card display

The normal card table provides its bonus from the table itself. The cards placed on it provide no additional bonus.

The card display does not need to contain any cards for this setup. The example uses a floor table that holds 10 cards, but no cards need to be displayed.

The resulting bonuses are:

The total of 19.555 rounds to the maximum +20 store capacity.

This setup assumes the goal is to reach +20 at level 45, when the black and white play tables are unlocked.

Alternative Builds Using Displayed Cards

Other combinations are possible, including setups that make use of the bonus provided by displayed cards.

Displayed cards have two practical limitations:

• Their market values can change daily. A decrease in market value can reduce the capacity bonus provided by the cards.
• Large numbers of displayed cards can negatively affect game performance and cause lag.

Currency Conversion

The prices and market values used in the calculations are expressed in USD. Other currencies convert as follows:

For the Deco App cost calculation, the currency conversion factor is also applied to the /20,000 portion of the formula, so the resulting capacity bonus remains the same.

The same principle applies to displayed cards. The currency conversion factor is also applied to the /50,000 portion of the displayed card formula, so the resulting capacity bonus remains the same.
